Adventure Training (8am to 5.30pm)

We had our adventure training today, we did revision on knots, practices and behaviour for camping, choosing a campsite, blah blah and finally, how to build a basha (Which I liked it a lot.)

First, I woke up rather early to have Char Siew buns. (Random..*With that Tymon's tone*)

More than 30 minutes was spent on inspection, we had to count the attendance and everything. (I'm so gonna kill the squad leader who counted wrongly.) Next, we had CE, which I didn't really pay attention to.

Let's move on. :P

After that, we went to the parade square to have a revision on knots. We revised on the Clove Hitch, and CLT Gregory gave a demonstration on how to tie it properly.

Greg: "Pass me the pole." (Says to our group)
Jerome (Squad 5): "But we only have one pole." *Gives that 'cute' look which failed terribly*
Wil (Squad 4): "We have two poles."
Jerome: "Oh wait, we have two poles too!" *Inside joke.. Po Yi's in our squad as well. Get it? Po, pole?*
Epic moment!
Greg: "No more nonsense from you ah Jerome, you've just lost 1 life." *Treats it like a game*

Back to serious mode.

Then we continued and then suddenly,

Greg: "Make sure you make an X on this pole, using the rope."
Us: *Giggles* ..Pole..
Brandon: "Like X-Men?"
Greg: "Who said that? Try to be funny ah?" *Blah.. Blah.. Rants more*
         "Let's continue, so make sure you make this X-Me..."
         "Basket la, I nearly said X-Men."

Epic moment number 2.

After that, we had our theory lesson on the revision of more knots and behaviours and practices for camping. We sat down, in the classroom and we revised through our list of things to memorise and revise, cut the crap and let's go to the funny parts.

Greg: "So you know what defecate is? Defecate is poo-poo, I believe you guys poo-poo everyday."

Someone: "I don't poo-poo everyday."

All: "Eww." (Wth man.)

Skip.Skip.Skip

Greg: "Why can't we defecate in the river source?"
Someone: "Cause we will be drinking Milo after that." (Freaking funny)

Greg: "What can you find if you don't invert your shoes before you wear them in the morning?"
Someone: "Mermaids." (Wth)

A lot of nonsense after that. Can't remember. :P

Lunch was okay. Chicken 'chop' rice--> That was what Mr Chan said. -.-

After lunch, we proceeded with our practical. For this practical, we constructed Bashas (Simple tent). I took Jerome, Lyon and Brandon for their practical test (I call them the FAIL Team, you will know why later.). They wasted 15mins fooling around and tying all the wrong knots at all the wrong places.

8 Minutes left..
Me: "Guys, better do it fast, we're like the slowest.." -.-
Jerome: "Never mind la, we took our test last year when we were sec 1s"
Brandon: "Don't worry la."
Me: "Oh yeah, makes sense. Wait, this test is for the sec 1s to get their badge."
Lyon: *giggles*
Brandon: "OH SH*T! LET'S COMPLETE THIS NOW!!!!"

Another one:

Lyon: "Oh yeah, oh yeah." *Hammering the pole into the soil, while making funny noises*
Mr Chan walks behind Lyon to see what he's doing.
Me: "Lyon, Mr Chan behind you."
Mr Chan: "Yes?"
Lyon: "Oh crap. Mr Chan, I was saying the correct words but in the wrong accent."

Freaking funny. We laughed for like 5 minutes.

Last one:

Shawn: "Take a group photo."
Us: "Sure, but Po Yi's not here." *Sob, sob*
*Snaps, snaps*
Jerome: "No, he's here! You're (Lyon) holding him!"
Lyon: "OH YES." *Holding the pole in one hand*
