Morning assembly: I gave the commands today, it went fairly well, stood up straight and I wasn't nervous! :) Thank goodness that it we recited the Chinese version of the Pledge.
Chapel: Average, just like any other chapel service. Just can't seem hit all the high notes :P *Li Wei, if you're reading this, hope it reminded you about the Pastor Jackson incident,
Biology: We did lots of filing and we went through the carbonic acid thingy that occurs in our blood which was freaking cool. Hope the future Biology lessons will be as fun as this**
Chinese: It sucked, because it was before recess. We did filing (as expected) and the O Lvl practice paper (we were asked to finish it before we leave the class :|) As always, being a kuai kia, I completed all the filing and the assignments and handed them up to Mr Yao.
Recess: Recess was cut short by 20 minutes as I had to file my Chinese worksheets and wait for a few friends of mine. Curry puffs, my favourite :)
Geography: Sat next to Darius for geography (He asked me), same as always, he was talking nonsense again (Freaking horny stuff). Today, he said something about conquering some country and send the males for labour work while using the females as slaves. -.-
Back to Geography lesson, when Ms Low came into class, I started to pack my stuff to move next to Darius (which was like the other end of the classroom), but I had to move without alerting Ms Low, so, when she said, "As I was saying" *Turns to her laptop*, I ran like Tyson Gay (Maybe 1/4 of it lar :P) and made it next to Darius. Close shave. After that, we did map reading, thank goodness that I'm in Boys' Brigade-- so I can revise my map reading when we're doing Adventure during parade. We had the map (Jamaica, with Cuffie Head in it) and we carried out our tasks.
Social Studies: I did not move back to my seat, and spent the lesson sitting next to Darius. We studied about the "Bonding Singapore" chapter, not really interesting, but we still have to bear with it and memorise it -.-
One thing Mr Sem said inspired me: "Have you noticed that the scholars nowadays belong to those rich families, in the past, in my time, scholars came from those poor families, whose fathers worked as Taxi drivers, cleaners... Maybe the rich families nowadays have more money, that's why their children can be successful, maybe because they are a level higher than normal children... Listen, shh,
~~Darius was talking about his dream girl the other day, what hair colour (reddish hazel or something) and skin tone (porcelain coloured.. What?!) his dream girl must have and I misheard it and ended up making a joke out of it.
Math: Ms Chung took over for today, we learned the area of a triangle (the trigo style) and did examples after examples. I told Willi that I shouldn't switch role for the Sungei Buloh thingy, but he insisted that I should change it and I shouldn't worry about it. If you give me a choice to choose between her feelings and my own personal gain, I will choose to listen to her and care about her feelings. Hope it turns out well, I will ask her soon.
I think I'm a softie, no matter how much other people piss me off, I will forget about it after 1 hour and I will be friends with them again. (Is that a good thing?)
If you're reading this right now, remember to tag at the side! I'm not planning to publicise this blog to everyone, so yeah. See how first la.
Time to go! I will fight back to prove to myself that I can do well for my studies!
